A Message from The Show President

 It is a privilege to have been invited to be the President for the Hawkshead Agricultural Show, especially as in 2025 the show is celebrating its 150th year. This is a  remarkable achievement and shows the past and present committees dedication to organising a show.

Hawkshead Agricultural Society are indebted to Shaun and Charlotte Woods and family for hosting the show on their farm. Two years ago the committee revived the show from near Extinction, they have had to move with the times and make changes, but have retained its unique character as an Agricultural and Horticultural Show.

I am confident the committee will make this year’s show special to celebrate 150 years.

Hawkshead Show is an excellent place for Horticulturists to show their produce and for farmers to showcase their  stock.

It is a good venue to meet old friends and make new friends.

I hope the weather will be kind to us this year, we look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 19th August at Hawkshead Hall Farm.
